Arkansas Water Trails develops public paddling trails throughout the state, creating well-mapped accessible day trips in a variety of settings and for all levels of paddling experience.

Arkansas has more than 90,000 miles of rivers, streams and bayous, much of which is perfect for floating. Paddling in The Natural State provides opportunity to land a small mouth bass, meander through a cypress swamp and make a run through rugged white water.

In the past few years, recreational kayaking was the fastest growing outdoor recreational activity. Paddling is a great way to get out an watch wildlife, fish, and engage in a healthy living habit. And, paddlers bring money to our local economies.

There is two trail dedications coming up, and canoes will be provided.
