A Bryant High School JR. ROTC instructor is accused of using a derogatory name toward a student that referred to a person who is mentally challenged. It turns out that student has a mentally challenged brother and his family is not happy. Michael Henderson said" The teacher told him to stop acting retarded not just that he used that word towards my son but he used it in a derogatory sentence." After hearing what happened in Timothy Watkin's ninth grade ROTC class he's demanding the school district do something. Watkins says his brother is actually mentally challenged. Watkins refused to go back to his ROTC class where the instructor teaches so he says the school made him sit in the principal's office.

So which is it? Mentally challenged? Developmentally Disabled? Special Needs? I think this political correctness needs to stop. My child is [censored], and goes to that school. If someone told me to stop acting [censored], I would understand what they meant. It's not a cut down, it's an opinion. Quit making it more than it is.
