Man Arrested for False Reports of Gunman, Bomb at Sylvan Hills Schools

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- A Sherwood man is behind bars for making false reports of a gunman on a high school campus and a bomb at a middle school.

According to Sherwood Police, 29-year-old Tyler A. Hansen of Sherwood was charged with two felony counts of communicating a false alarm after an investigation into a reported gunman incident at the Sylvan Hills Middle School and a bomb threat incident at the Sylvan Hills High School, both on Feb. 18.

Authorities executed a search and seizure warrant on Hansen's vehicle, and after further investigation, felony arrest warrants were issued and served on Hansen, who was already in Pulaski County Jail on unrelated charges.
