Volunteers throughout the state have come together in Little Rock to learn about the new petition and changes made to the campaign for the Arkansas medical marijuana act of 2014.
Arkansans for Compassionate Care say this time around will be more of a compromise with those standing against their proposal of legalizing marijuana for medical purposes.
The concerns for the availability of weed for anyone and people growing it inside their homes have been addressed.
"The use by kids and people that don't need it we've made it tighter regulated that way. We have taken out the grow your own. It will only be sold in dispensaries." said Melissa Fultz of Arkansans for Compassionate Care.
A petition for approval will be turned in to the Attorney General on Wednesday -- with what they claim is more confidence than ever for the campaign this time around.
