Man Shot Dead by Little Rock Police

The Little Rock Police Department is investigating the deadly shooting by officers of a man described as a burglary suspect.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, was shot dead shortly before 10 o'clock this morning near 14th & Brown.

Police say some of its detectives were in the area and witnessed a burglary in progress that soon turned into a foot chase that ended with the man being shot by officers.
