Daniel Caple was apprehended last night by the Little Rock Police Department.
He is currently incarcerated in the Pulaski County Jail awaiting extradition to the Saline County Detention Facility.
This is an on-going investigation with more arrests possible.
Benton Police say they have issued a warrant for Daniel Caple, who is believed to be involved in the armed robbery at Shell on Interstate 30 that occurred Thursday afternoon.
Benton Police are searching for three suspects believed to be involved in an armed robbery.
According to Benton PD, officers responded to a robbery call at Shell on the 16000 block of Interstate 30 around 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
Police say one suspect entered the business and displayed a pistol. While inside, the suspect jumped onto the counter and fired a round into the floor, then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise.
The clerk was not injured.
The suspect that entered the business was described as being a slender white male wearing a black jacket and jeans with a dark colored, half-open face style toboggan. Additionally, there were two individuals in a vehicle outside the business that accompanied him there, but never entered the store. The suspect vehicle was described as being a late 90's Chevrolet Malibu.
Benton PD says detectives are diligently working leads in the case and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
