The Arkansas Queen is leaving North Little Rock.

The riverboat has been docked next to the city's Maritime Museum for eight years hosting cruises and special events, but the Queen's website says its last day of operation was Sunday.

The general manager sent a letter to the city saying it was leaving town due to breach of contract.

Mayor Joe Smith says he disagrees with the claim, but he wishes the best for the Queen and her crew.

KARK 4 contacted the riverboat, but an employee said they had no comment.
