Late Night Crash Kills One near Bono in Northeast Arkansas

One person is dead after a head-on collision last night on Interstate 55 in Mississippi County.

42-year-old Daphne Tate of Bono died in the crash.

It happened just after 11 p.m, near the 67 Mile Marker.

A preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police says the vehicle driven by Tate was going the wrong way and collided with another vehicle, killing Tate, and injuring the other driver.

The investigation is continuing.
