Helping young babies sit up may help them learn faster. A new study out of Texas A&M University looked at the learning patterns of five-and-a-half and six-and-a-half month olds.
An advantage the older babies had is they can sit up to reach for objects.
Researchers found when the five month-olds were given support to help them sit up, they demonstrated similar learning patterns as the older babies.
