Update: North Little Rock Police Release Identity of December Murder Victim

Update (January 4):
The North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) has released the identity of a murder victim whose body was found late last month.

The NLRPD says James Pounders, 60, was found dead at 17th & Frank streets on December 27.

Original story (December 27):
North Little Rock police are investigating a homicide that took place Thursday night just after 7 p.m.

It happened at West Short 17th and Frank.

Investigators have not identified a suspect or the victim at this time.

We will continue to keep you updated on the investigation as information is released.
