A fire forces the temporary evacuation and closure of a little rock hotel.

At around 8am a grease fire started in the main kitchen of the Peabody Hotel. Guests and workers were evacuated, and no injuries were reported.

However extensive damage in the kitchen forced the hotel to cancel Christmas brunch and room service.

Peabody Sales and Marketing director Bruce Skidmore says they're hoping to re-open their restaurants, with health department approval tomorrow at 2pm .

No ducks were hurt.
