This year, thousands of rainbow trout are being stocked in Arkansas Game & Fish Commission Family and Community Fishing Program locations around the state. Among these fish are over a hundred specially tagged fish that not only offer a good meal, but a prize as well.
If you catch a tagged trout, call the number on the tag and follow the instructions. Mail in the tag and we'll mail you a prize.
All of the lucky anglers also will be entered into a drawing to win one of three grand
prizes, courtesy of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation.
Grand Prize: A two-night stay and half-day guided trip on the Little Red River provided by Red River Trout Dock in Heber Springs and fishing gear, tackle and waders.
Second Place: Fishing gear, tackle and waders.
Third Place: High-quality spinning rod and reel combo and tackle.
Only one entry is allowed per person. All tags must be returned to the AGFC by Dec. 15, 2012,
to be eligible.
