By: KARK 4 News
Updated: November 29, 2012
Entergy Corporation crews installing new power lines will require temporary closures of Interstate 30 at Benton this Sunday, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The work will be located at the Saline River and will require Entergy crews to pull power lines across the traffic lanes on Interstate 30.

All lanes in each direction will be closed for 15 minute intervals beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, weather permitting.

Crews anticipate having to close the lanes a total of three times throughout the day. Arkansas State Police will be on location to coordinate traffic.

Motorists should consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones
