The body of a man missing since August has been identified.

Roy Smith had been missing since the summer.

His body was found in a rural part of Saline County east of Hot Springs this week.

25-year-old Smith was last seen four-wheeling with friends in an area off Highway 171 near Lonsdale on July 27.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office sent the remains to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

A spokesperson for the Sheriff tells us the cause of death has not been determined, and more information will be available when the investigation is completed.
