Former Pulaski County Superintendent Passes Away

Doctor Charles Hopson has passed away.

The former superintendent of the Pulaski County Special School District was 54.

According to Portland Public Schools in Oregon, Dr. Hopson died of an undisclosed illness.

Hopson worked in the Portland School District before coming to Pulaski County in 2010.

During the Summer of 2011, Hopkins was dismissed in a state takeover of the district, he had recently taken a job in the Houston Independent School District.
