Pulaski County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man for reportedly murdering another man Saturday night.

Deputies say they were called to a home on Charlene Lane off of Willow Springs around 9:30 p.m.

There they learned 22-year-old Antonio Davis had been shot several times. Witnesses told deputies that the shooter was near the scene. Edward Lee was located at a nearby home. He told deputies that he had tried to break up a fight with Davis and another man, when Davis came towards him. Lee told deputies he and Davis had a history of violence and that Davis had broken his ankle in the past. He said he was in fear for his life when he shot Davis.

Deputies, however, plan to charge Lee with first degree murder, because they say Davis didn't have a weapon. Lee is being held in the Pulaski County jail without bond.
