A man accused of beating a dog to death with a baseball bat could be facing felony animal cruelty charges

We must warn you the photos are graphic.

Conway police say over the course of their investigation they've been provided photos of what appear to be blood on a block in the pen.

What is believed to be blood on a tree outside the pen, what is believed to be blood on the ground outside of the pen and those photos provided by animal welfare officers called to the scene.

The man suspected of beating the dog to death claimed he was only using a shovel to usher the dog into another pen.

Conway police say they've turned their findings over to the prosecutor's office for review.
