Alleged Meth Found in Storage Unit Leads to Arrest of Boone County Woman

The Boone County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) says on Monday its investigators executed a search warrant of the unit at the Valley Springs Mini Storage in Harrison.
The BCSO says investigators found Methamphetamine, Methamphetamine paraphernalia, prescription medication and a substantial amount of cash while searching the storage unit.
Information at the scene led them to the home of 25-year-old Lorene Latham of Bellefonte.
The BCSO says inside Latham's home, investigators found Marijuana and other paraphernalia along with the woman's 3-year-old daughter. Latham was arrested for the meth at the storage unit as well as the items in her home. The Department of Human Services was notified and removed the child from Latham's home.
Latham was charged with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule VI narcotic and endangering the welfare of a minor third degree.
She was given a $10,000 bond, which she later posted and was released from the Boone County Jail.
