The historic Fordyce Bathhouse in Hot Springs is temporarily closing.

Officials say the heating a cooling system need to be replaced.

The system broke down in the Summer of 2012.

That motivated the owners to move forward with repairs.

Those repairs could take up to 12 months.

Work will begin in October.
