Home Appraisals on the Rise Across Pulaski County

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: August 5, 2012
As homeowners across Pulaski County receive their appraisals from the county assessor's office, many will experience rising prices.

According to a report from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, more than half of real estate parcels in the county have increased value since 2009.

In some cases, property values have spiked by nearly 50 percent.

According to the ADG, some homeowners are questioning the accuracy of the appraisals.

The increase in appraised value generally means homeowners will pay additional property tax fees.
