A cook-out turned deadly, after an alcohol-induced fight in Conway early Saturday morning.

Police were called to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Willow Street about 1:00 a.m.

Witnesses say 39-year-old Terry Ragan of Texas was visiting his sister and had reportedly been drinking much of the day. They say he started a scuffle and then some how slipped and hit his head, dying on scene.

Police questioned one person but say at this time, they say they don't have enough for an arrest.

"It's unfortunate things like this happen. It seems they were enjoying the day started off with a cook out then some drinking came into play," said LaTresha Woodruff with the Conway Police Department.

Ragan's body has been sent for an autopsy. The case is still on-going.
