Local AM Buzz: Deputies Looking for Shooting, Beating Suspect, Trooper Didn't Violate Laws in Handling of Petrino Crash

Pulaski County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a suspect who they say beat and shot someone outside of Cabot.
Investigators found one person beaten and shot in the elbow in the 2000 block of Dean Martin Drive just before 9:00 pm. The victim is expected to be okay.

ASP: Trooper Didn't Violate Laws in Handling of Petrino Crash
Arkansas State Police say based on their investigation Captain Lance King did not violate any State Police policy or state laws in his handling of the motorcycle accident involving Razorbacks Head Coach Bobby Petrino.
According to a news release, Captain King's narrative was provided Monday afternoon to Jeff Long, University of Arkansas Athletic Director to be used as Long may see necessary in his review of the chain of events that played-out last week.
Dozens Rally to Show Support for Coach Petrino
On Monday night, dozens of Hog fans showed up for a rally in support of Coach Bobby Petrino.
It all started with the "Team Save Coach Petrino" Facebook page, which has more than 20,000 members and counting.
Organizers were hoping for around 1,000 fans to show up, but instead, more than 100 folks were at the University of Arkansas Gardens, sporting their Razorback red.
