Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman is ending his bid for the White House.

Huntsman is scheduled to make an official announcement today dropping out of the presidential race.

His decision will cut the competition down to five major candidates, with Huntsman reportedly set to throw his support behind Mitt Romney.

Huntsman's campaign manager Matt David confirmed Sunday evening in an interview with the "New York Times" that Huntsman and his family, "decided it was time for Republicans to rally around a candidate who could beat Barack Obama."
