Citing multiple sources, Politico reports that at the time Cain headed the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, at least two female workers told top association officials and fellow employees that Cain engaged in inappropriate behavior.
The sources told Politico the women complained about sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that angered them and made them uncomfortable.
The sources say the women signed agreements with the association, which gave them financial payouts to leave the restaurant group.
The agreements also prevented the women from speaking about the issue.
