Romney Tops GOP Field in Iowa, New Hampshire

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney leads the Republican presidential field in Iowa and New Hampshire.

The latest NBC News-Marist polls show Romney with a three-point lead over former Godfather's Pizza chief Herman Cain in Iowa, 23-percent for Romney, 20-percent for Cain.

In New Hampshire Romney holds a commanding lead over all other GOP candidates with 44-percent of voters supporting him.

Cain and Texas Congressman Ron Paul come next with 13-percent each.
