We caught up with Jones on Election Day as he took a break from the last minute campaign details to talk with friends and supporters at the Ozark Fence Company.
Jones is a Captain at the Sheriff's Office, but took the last few months to focus on his campaign. He said of that time, the most rewarding moments were spent going door-to-door.
"I've had the best experiences of visiting people in their homes," explained Jones, "Answering the tough questions."
Jones says his 38 years of experience, including a stint as Chief of Rogers Police and more than five years at the Sheriff's Department make him the best candidate for Benton County Sheriff.
