Arrest Made in NLR Murder

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - A man suspected of shooting and killing Tony Pearson, Jr. at an apartment complex in North Little Rock this week was arrested Friday afternoon.

Preston R. Robinson, 26, is charged with first degree murder and possession of a firearm by certain persons.

Pearson was found shot Tuesday in the parking lot of the Arrington Apartments at 6301 Camp Robinson Road. The 18-year-old Pearson was taken to the hospital, where he died on Wednesday after being taken off of life support.

Robinson is in the Pulaski County jail being held on no bond.
