Three construction workers are injured after Jefferson Co. deputies say they fell 30-40 feet at a construction site.

Deputies were called to a business at 509 Island Harbor Marina Road just before three Saturday afternoon. They say the three men were working on an addition to the Thompson's Pine Bluff Imports when the truss they were on failed and they fell to the ground.

One man had to be taken by helicopter to a Little Rock hospital. He is in critical condition and suffering from life-threatening injuries. The other two men were also taken to hospitals, but are expected to be okay.

Officers say they do not suspect foul play in the accident. The company is now conducting an internal investigation to determine the exact cause.
