"It happened so quickly before we could even get scared honestly," said Michelle Thornton.
Thornton describes the tense moments while home with two of her children and son-in-law.
"We were standing at the back door watching. All of a sudden we were standing outside," Thornton said.
Perhaps the greatest story of survival here surrounds this Luke Morrison. He was taking a shower when the storm barrelled through.
It tossed him out, and he landed among the debris alive!
"It was just like a ten second thing. I heard what I thought was the loudest thunder I've heard in my life, and the next thing I'm laying in the front yard."
He has cuts and crutches, but he's glad to be among the living.
"I literally thought I was going to die," Thornton said.
