Voting to Name New Penguin at LR Zoo Ends, and the Winner is...

After counting all the votes, the Little Rock Zoo has a name for its latest addition to the penguin family.

And the winner is...Gilligan.

The zoo announced the name competition last month for the baby South African penguin, a boy, born on Oct. 30.

Several names were submitted, and the penguin keeper staff selected their top three favorites: Little Rocky, Wade and Gilligan.
