Update: State Police Identify Victim in Deadly Car Crash near Rogers

Update (3:30 p.m.):
A driver killed in an accident on Highway 12 near Rogers this morning has been identified.

Tiffany Crawford, 21, of Rogers died when the vehicle she was driving crossed the center line while on a curve and hit a Dodge Ram pickup truck head-on, according to the Arkansas State Police accident report.

The other driver, Peter Lane, was also injured but his condition isn't known.

The report states Crawford was not wearing a seat belt.

Original story (1:15 p.m.):
One person has died after an SUV and a pickup truck collide just outside Rogers.

The Rogers Fire Department and Arkansas State Police troopers responded to the call shortly after six o'clock this morning on Highway 12.

Emergency crews had to free at least one person who was trapped at the scene.

One of the accident victims went by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, the other was airlifted to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

A police report on the accident has not yet been made available for additional details.
