From the Arkansas Ozarks to the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City.

Monday night was a huge night for Harrison's Cody Ray Slaughter. The 21-year-old was selected by The Late Show with David Letterman to kick off Elvis Week.

Cody was the 2011 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist of the Year. He is currently touring with the Million Dollar Quartet.

His first-ever Letterman appearance is something pretty special.

"I hope when people watch it, especially the younger generation, they can look at Elvis maybe, and hopefully see that okay, this is cool, you know," he says.
