We may have started the week out warm, but those cold temperatures came blasting back.
When it's cold outside your heart must work extra hard...putting stress on the cardiovascular system of even healthy people.
That can mean your blood pressure goes up and blood vessels narrow.
Very cold temperatures can also have a negative effect on your body's response to exercise
For example, breathing in cold air during a job can cause undue stress...Some doctors recommend wearing something over your mouth to warm the air you breath in.
