Deadly Hunting Accident In Lafayette County

A hunting accident claims the life of a Louisiana man.

The Arkansas Department of Game and Fish says Stacy Sewell was shot in Lafayette county on December 29th.

A member of Sewell's group was shooting at a hog near Mays Lake and Sewell was hit in the neck.

Authorities say the shooting appears to be an accident and don't anticipate any charges.
