Some customers in the Natural state tell KARK their Comcast service was restored Monday or on New Year's Day. Others say they are still having issues getting through to the company.
Jacqueline Long is one of them.
"It's frustrating me because like I said I've talked to Comcast cable several times," Long said.
The 51-year-old Little Rock woman uses a motorized wheelchair and lives in an assisted care facility. She needs cable service for her connection to the outside world, especially her land line phone which is the only way she can activate the automatic front doors of the facility to let her caregiver and family members inside to visit her.
Other customers have told KARK they can only get automated messages from the cable provider when they call about service problems.
In an email statement, Comcast says it is working around the clock to get service restored and expects all of its customers will be back online in a matter of days.
Long says she has had problems with shoddy service every month since 2003 when she moved into assisted care.
