Crews Put Temporary Patch On Potholes

You've probably noticed those potholes popping up more and more.

Public work officials said the wet weather we're seeing keeps them from being able to use hot asphalt, a more permanent fix, to patch up the holes.

It could be Wednesday before spots are repaired.

"As long as it's raining, roads are wet, and there's freezing temperatures it's going to be like this," said Jim Carloss.

They're instead using cold asphalt as a temporary fix.

If you see a particularly bad area you can report them to 3-1-1.
