Close to 400 of those dollars were spent during Thanksgiving weekend, but some consumer analyst expect Monday, December 10th to be the beginning of the busiest time of the shopping season.

So what are your shopping plans like?

"Total?" said one shopper, "Probably about $800"

How far are you along we asked shopper Sarah Wright. "Just getting started!"
