Can Health Insurance Coverages Differ By County

The woman claims she's limited as to what coverage is available to her from Medicare based on the county she lives in.

"We moved to Faulkner County," said Cynthia Dick. "They said it was a demographics problem, but that if I was living in Pulaski County I could probably get the deductible."

We spoke with her insurance provider who backed up those claims saying "There are sometimes significant changes in coverage from one county to the next based on a number of factors... We strongly recommend visiting medicare.gov to compare the plans available in each zip code."
