Cynthia Dick suffers from a stomach ailment doctor's are unable to determine a cause for, but that's not even the source of most of her concerns.

"Me and my husband you know are starting all over," said Dick, "Hurricane Isaac took everything from us. Everything."

Choosing Conway to be closer to her father-in-law who's fighting his own health battle against lung cancer.

"I get strength from him because he's fighting."

Dick suffers from idiopathic gastroperisis, which requires frequent trips to expensive specialists and the emergency room.

In New Orleans she was able to use an advantage program through her insurance not offered in Faulkner County, even though she uses the same provider.

"It should be the same no matter where you may be," said Cynthia's husband Tommy Dick.

She and Tommy tell KARK they continue to fight against what they say is an unfair system.

"How many people are in my situation not brave enough to fight," Dick said.

We reached out to the Dick's insurance company but they weren't available for comment.
