Some big money could be going to the tigers at the Little Rock Zoo, as a sales tax passed last year will allow the folks at the zoo to receive $250,000.

The money will go toward renovating the tiger exhibit, so the only two tigers living can hopefully welcome a tiger cub.

"We got a recommendation from the species survival plan, it's a group that's sponsored by the Association of Zoo's and Aquariums to breed our tigers, said Susan Altruie."

The tiger exhibit hasn't had a renovation since 1982.

And since tigers are an endangered animal, the zoo said it's a great opportunity to try to increase that big cat population.
