A Garland County inmate is back behind bars after he disappeared from a hospital.

Jerrod Cox was taken from the Garland County Detention Center to a hospital in late October, when he was able to slip away from police.

Cox was free for more than two weeks before a deputy spotted him running while on another call.

He is currently in Garland County Detention Center with bonds totaling $50,000.
