A campaign controversy at the North Little Rock Police Department, the chief says, isn't exactly as it seems.

A Facebook group says that popular Officer Tommy Norman is under investigation because he campaigned for a mayoral candidate in a commercial.

Law and police policy prevents an officer from doing that if they are representing the department.

But after a brief inquiry, Chief Danny Bradley tells us, Officer Norman did nothing wrong. He was acting on behalf of the Fraternal Order of Police instead.

"It went viral, someone got a little piece of information and for some reason, decided to make more out of it and create a controversy where there was no controversy," Chief Bradley explained.

Chief Bradley says it's all just political, he says Officer Norman has been told he's not in any trouble.

Sounds a lot like dirty politics there trying to make it look like one Candidate deliberately did wrong... glad it has been shot down fast...
