Update: Man Hit by SUV in Pine Bluff Dies

Police say Jonathan Haney died early this morning in a Little Rock hospital.
The Pine Bluff Police Department says:
"We need anyone that knows a person who was operating a black SUV on Friday Night in Pine Bluff to contact us if that black SUV now has damage or parts missing from it which were not noticed prior to Friday night. We need the driver to come forward immediately."
Update (October 7, 4:30 p.m.):
A young man injured Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in Pine Bluff is still in critical condition as of Sunday night.
Police were called to West 6th Street near Young Street, where a black SUV slammed into 19-year-old Erik Green and 20-year-old Jonathan Haney.
Haney was at UAMS as of Sunday night, where doctors and nurses are working to get him better again.
No arrests have been made in the accident because the driver took off.

Pine Bluff Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck two pedestrians late last night.
It happened just before midnight on West 6th Avenue, near Young Street.
Jonathan Haney suffered life threatening injuries and is in a Little Rock hospital.
Erick Green received minor injuries.
The vehicle is described as a black SUV.

All calls will be kept confidential and a reward is available for information leading to the identification and arrest of the driver.
