LRPD Arrest Man Growing Pot in Backyard for 2nd Case this Week

A Little Rock man was arrested after an anonymous tip lead police to a home where marijuana was growing.

According to the police report, 30-year-old Oscar Moreno told an officer simply "yes," when asked if he was growing marijuana plants in his backyard.

Moreno was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to manufacture, maintaining a drug premise, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear for a previous traffic warrant and taken to the Pulaski County Regional Jail.

There is currently no word on how many plants were discovered, as inventory of the evidence had not been conducted at the time of the report.
