Local AM Buzz: Maumelle's Water Ban, Authorities Search for Missing Man Living in NLR

Maumelle's Water Ban

The General Manager of the Maumelle Water Commission told council members Monday that the consumption rates are up due to heat and a water well that failed Sunday.
People are not allowed use water outside, meaning no sprinklers or filling up the kiddie pool.
Water Management says the ban will help maintain adequate water for fire protection and sanitary use.

Authorities Search for Missing Man Living in NLR

Police are searching for a man, they say, is now missing after being recently released from the Pulaski County Detention Center. Danny Everett has not been seen or heard from since June 21st.
He lives at a homeless camp in the area of I-40 and State Highway 161 in North Little Rock.
Everett's medications for alcoholism and seizures are still at the camp.
