Fire Damages Business in Dermott

Right in the midst of a big crawfish festival, fire severely damages a business Saturday night.

The blaze sparked just before 7 p.m. at the Fred's department store in Dermott in Chicot County.

Police officers tell us the store was open for business and a number of people were inside, but they were able to get out unharmed.

The cause of the fire isn't known at this time.
