Bank Robber Sought in Texas and Arkansas

Police in Texas are looking for a man suspected in multiple bank robberies, including two in Benton.

Spokesman Don Martin with the Tyler, Texas Police Department says an unidentified man dubbed "The Loan Ranger" has robbed four banks.

According to Texas TV station KLTV,  the nickname started after the suspect wore a Texas Rangers ball cap in one of the robberies.

The suspect is believed to have robbed a bank in Tyler, Thursday. He's also suspected of robbing the Summit Bank in Benton in 2009 and 2011.

Now police in Arkansas and Texas are hoping someone recognizes "The Loan Ranger" and gives them a call.
