Searchers have found a body in the Arkansas River.

The discovery was made around 2:45 this afternoon.

Lieutenant Carl Minden says he has received additional information that the body matches the physical and clothing description of the 13 year old that jumped from the I-430 bridge Wednesday.

The body will be turned over to the Pulaski County Coroner.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office tells KARK 4 that a boy was riding in a car with his aunt, who was taking him to a mental health or rehab facility when he jumped from the car and over the bridge.

Rescue crews from the Little Rock Fire Department and Game & Fish have been assisting in the search.
