The Democratic primary race for the 4th Congressional District is getting a little more crowded.

Hot Springs lawyer Q. Byrum Hurst is joining the race, which already has Gene Jeffress and D.C. Morrison.

The winning Democrat will face the winner from a three-way race on the Republican side that includes Tom Cotton, John Cowart and Beth Anne Rankin.

Hurst's father was a state senator for 22 years and ran for governor in 1972.
