Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are in Michigan today, and their TV ads are getting fierce.

Romney has some history in Michigan. His dad was governor here, but that was more than 40 years ago.

Michigan's current governor is expected to endorse Romney today, but the question is whether the endorsement will help him win the state despite his opposition to the auto bailout. "The auto companies need to go through managed bankruptcy, to shed their excess costs," Romney said.

Santorum's leading the latest Michigan polls. His conservative message has blue collar appeal. "You will never hear me talk about income distribution as a problem in America," he said. "There will be people that make more. There will be people that make less."

For Romney and Santorum, experts think a win in Michigan will come down to money. "They're going to debate taxes and spending, and how that goes one on one is going to determine, I think, who wins the race," said Former Michigan Governor, John Engler.

Meantime President Obama is fundraising in California today, and facing tough questions from Hollywood about anti-piracy legislation that failed on Capitol Hill.
